This Privacy Policy explains how Vector Point Aviation ("we", "us", "our") collects and uses personal data in connection with the VectorSuite website and platform.
Who we are
VectorSuite is a back-office platform for aviation organisations, provided by Vector Point Aviation. For any privacy question, or to exercise your rights, contact us at info@vectorpointaviation.com.
The data we collect
Website visitors
- Demo requests: when you submit the “Book a demo” form we collect your name, work email, organisation and message.
- Technical data: standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) generated when you visit the site.
Platform customers
- Account data: the names and email addresses of the users you create on your install.
- Your business data: the content you put into your install — customers, quotes, tenders, documents and the material you use to teach the AI. This lives only on your own install (see “Your data stays yours”).
How we use your data
- To respond to demo requests and enquiries.
- To provide, secure and maintain the platform.
- To meet our legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.
Lawful bases (UK GDPR)
We process personal data on the basis of legitimate interests (responding to enquiries and running and securing the service), performance of a contract (providing the platform to customers), and legal obligation where applicable.
Your data stays yours
Each customer runs a private, isolated install with its own database. Your business data and AI knowledge base are never pooled with other customers’ data and are never used to train a shared AI model. You can export your data on demand.
Sharing & service providers
We do not sell personal data. We rely on a small number of service providers (for example hosting and content delivery) who process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements, and we disclose data where required by law.
International transfers
Where personal data is processed outside the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. Self-hosted customers control their own data residency.
Retention
We keep demo-request enquiries for as long as needed to follow up and for our legitimate business records, then delete them. Customer data is retained for the life of the agreement and deleted or returned on termination.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email info@vectorpointaviation.com. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Cookies
See our Cookie Policy for details of the cookies we use.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version.
